Love this Casein! Great for making Casein pudding.
I hate to write something negative as I have been a loyal customer for years. I opened the casein container and have been taking one scoop in my cereal. The flavor would be better if it was sweeter, as I found the vanilla more sweet.
Then just last night I decided to weigh the scoop as I wanted just half a serving and I realized the scoop that comes with the container is only 22 grams and one serving as advertised shows 33 grams (....but the container does state that the serving is "approx." 1 scoop). This will mean if I wanted to prescribed serving I would have to guess (i scoop and a bit, if I didnt have a scale?. In my whole experience with protein powders over the years I have never seen a protein scoop which came with the product to be so far off the mark from the label in grams. Very odd.
Further more, I bought two containers of XP Labs IsoXP 5lb, XP Labs approx. 1-2 yrs ago. When I got home, there was no hard seal on the container (you know the hard plastic skinning wrapping around the lid of the container). I then opened the lid and the paper seal sealing the container (from the powder) was not secure and opened without me breaking it (it was already open). My first thought that came to mind is has someone tampered with this product????? as there should be a strong secure seal of some sort to avoid this very suspicion. I said to myself I will not buy this product again and only buy a protein powder that is 100% secure seal... which is why I have bought a different protein casein.
Needless to say, now that the casein scoop is a little odd (whereby it is so far off the 33g mark, i understand maybe being off a few grams but 11 grams) which means customers have to guesstimate the prescribed advertised amount on the label.... it makes me feel yet again, has this product been tampered with?
Also, I have bought the exact same casein before but in vanilla and when shook up the consistency was MUCH MUCH THICKER than the cookies and cream. I sound like a broken record but makes me think was this tampered with (tampered with meaning = diluted etc...). Maybe the flavor of the exact protein changes consistency? Its ironic, but I bought this casein so I could have a thicker consistency (btw: I understand if you put in more water the consistency is thinner, this is not the case. When I put in very little water, it sure doesn't look like casein as I know it.)
I don't know..... these are just some observations. I thought it was worth to put it out there.
I love your sales you guys have, the customer service is excellent but not sure If I will go back unless for vitamins, BCAA's etc...
